Conyers-Sanchez letter to Harriet Miers' attorney regarding contempt for Congress if she fails to appear... topic posted Thu, July 12, 2007 - 3:19 AM by Timbozo

Ms. Miers attorney states that she will not appear before the House of the People because she has an excuse note from the President's lawyer (that we're paying the salary for BTW). Here is the info and response from the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives issued in the past 12 hours:

Sanchez rules for the subcommittee that executive privilege cannot be asserted to refuse to honor a congressional subpeona.
