The text of her recent press statement regarding Republican illegal activities in Alabama, including possible selective political prosecutions of American citizens and also possible violations of election, campaign and other laws as yet not yet revealed.
Ms. Simpson is a Republican lawyer who helped out in many Republican campaigns in Alabama. Recently though, because of her allegations that Karl Rove was involved in discussing and possibly influencing unConstitutional prosecutions against political opponents of the GOP in Alabama and other possible crimes against various applicable state and federal laws, she has come under libel and slander from her former "friends" in the GOP in Alabama.
I think she may be trying to cover her butt but she's doing a favor to the rest of us by showing that she still has faith that patriotism towards something more than the Bushites may still prevail. And for that, I salute her effort to come to grips with just how far the country has fallen away from the rule of law...and to somehow do her part to call the thugs in power before a court and away from running our legal system.
